How to get to Oualidia from Casablanca, Marrakech, El Jadida or Safi
Oualidia is on the coast road between El Jadida and Safi. Airports, drive times from Casablanca and Marrakech, taxis: how to get to the lagoon.

Oualidia is on the Atlantic coast, halfway between El Jadida to the north and Safi to the south, about an hour’s drive from each. There is no airport or train station in the village: you arrive by road. Here are the simplest routes.
From Casablanca and its airport
Casablanca Mohammed V airport has the most flights from Europe. Take the motorway to El Jadida, then the coast road south to Oualidia. Allow about 2 hours from Casablanca and 2 hours 30 from the airport.
From Marrakech
From Marrakech, head for the coast via Safi, then north along the coast road. Allow about 3 hours. It is a good option if you fly into Marrakech Menara or want to combine the city and the ocean.
From El Jadida and Safi
Both towns are about an hour away. You can get there by train or coach, then finish by hire car or grand taxi, which are common on the coast road.

The coast road
Between El Jadida and Safi, the road runs along the ocean, market gardens and salt marshes. It goes through several villages: drive calmly, there are often pedestrians, carts and speed checks.
Finding the Oualidia Holiday building
The building is about 400 metres from the main street. Coming from El Jadida, turn left at the Banque Populaire; coming from Safi, turn right. The building is two blocks further, on your right. Send your arrival time on WhatsApp and the owner will welcome you.
